　　The 2002 MY Aprilia Atlantic 500 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 460cc, single cylinder powerplant mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce a claimed 39 horsepower and 40 Nm of torque.

　　This maxi-scooter comes standard with a spacious, dual seat that offers lumbar support for the rider and a passenger backrest, a telescopic front fork, dual adjustable shock absorbers as a rear suspension, dual front disc brakes, and a large windscreen for improved protection against the elements.
