The Aprilia ETV 1200 Caponord was an adventure motorcycle presented at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan and manufactured between 2013 and 2016. The sale name was borrowed from the Italian for the North Cape.
In 2015, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Aprilia Caponord 1200 ABS Rally, a successful and versatile motorcycle in Aprilia's range that one can ride on unpaved roads in total confidence.
As for standard features, the bike had equipped a half fairing with a three-headlight system, an oversized windscreen, hand guards, a two-piece dual seat with pillion grab rails, side-mounted aluminum panniers, a single exhaust system, and wire-spoke wheels.
As for the technical features, the motorcycle featured a ride-by-wire system, two-channel ABS, Aprilia Traction Control (ATC), Aprilia Dynamic Damping (ADD), Aprilia Cruise Control (ACT), and LED lights.
The bike's suspension system comprised a 43 mm fully adjustable inverted Sachs shock on the front and an aluminum alloy swingarm coupled to an adjustable shock absorber on the rear, offering excellent suspension performance on every surface.
In the performance department, the 2015 Aprilia Caponord 1200 ABS Rally had its heartbeat set by a 1,197cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine mounted at its core. The powerhouse was fitted with a fuel injection system boasting 125 hp with maximum strength at 8,250 rpm and 114 Nm (84 lb-ft) torque at 6,800 rpm.
