The Aprilia Mana 850 was a naked motorcycle manufactured by Aprilia from 2007 until 2016. It was a small, light, and comfortable motorcycle and was also available partially faired under the Mana 850 GT designation.
The bike was powered by an 839cc V-twin engine and an automatic transmission (CVT). The transmission offered three riding modes: Sport, Touring, and Rain. The Sport mode provided maximum power, torque, and engine braking, the Touring mode scaled down the responsiveness and improved fuel savings, and the Rain mode reduced torque by 25 percent.
In addition to its automatic settings, the transmission could also be set in Manual mode, changing gears from the standard foot-shift or paddle-shifters mounted on the left side of the handlebar. Also, the instrument panel included a gear position indicator.
In 2007, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia Mana 850, a sports machine fitted with standard features, such as an oval-shaped headlight, a two-piece dual seat with a passenger grab rail, an under-seat fuel tank, a storage compartment in the usual fuel tank location, a two-into-one exhaust system with a silencer on the left side, and multi-spoke alloy wheels.
As for the power figures, the 2007 Aprilia Mana 850 boasted 76 hp at 8,000 rpm and 73 Nm (54 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm, coming from an 839cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine.
