The Aprilia RXV was a range of four-stroke V-twin off-road motorcycles produced by Aprilia from 2006. The bike was available in 450 and 550cc versions. Alongside the RXV, the maker released the SXV series, a dual-sport supermoto bike also available in two displacements.
In 2013, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia RXV 450, an off-road motorcycle that debuted in 2006 alongside its larger 550cc version. It was the most potent enduro machine the House of Noale created, thanks to its 450cc V-twin liquid-cooled engine.
Visually, the bike was fitted with standard features, such as a high-mounted front fender, a small headlight, a single two-tone seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust, a dual-sided aluminum swingarm, an engine plate, and wire-spoke wheels with black rims and off-road tires.
In the performance department, the 2013 Aprilia RXV 450 had its soul brought to life by a 449cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine fed by a fuel injection system, boasting 60 hp at 13,000 rpm and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) torque at 11,000 rpm.
The bike's power was handled by a five-speed manual transmission controlled by a cable-operated wet multi-plate clutch spinning the rear wheel to a top speed of 183 kph (114 mph) via a final chain drive.
As for the braking power, the bike's wheels were fitted with a 270 mm brake disc with a four-piston caliper mounted on the front wheel and a 240 mm brake disc with a two-piston caliper mounted on the rear wheel.
