The Aprilia RXV was a line of four-stroke V-twin off-road bikes made by Aprilia from 2006. The bike was available in 450 and 550cc versions. Alongside the RXV, the maker released the SXV series, a dual-sport supermoto bike also available in two displacements.
In 2011, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia RXV 450 Tuareg Rally Replica, a bike born ready to race, manufactured and assembled by the Noale Racing Department, which always built the best machines for every discipline.
The bike had the best components and was designed to the tiniest detail. In addition, the motorcycle was assembled by the same team of engineers who worked on the RSV for the Superbike Racing Championship. The bike was sold exclusively by Team Giofil.
The bike was built around a chrome-molybdenum steel perimeter frame with vertical aluminum members. It housed a 50 mm upside-down Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear, acting as suspension.
Braking-wise, the bike was fitted with a 310 mm floating disc and a four-piston Nissin floating caliper on the front. In contrast, the rear wheel was fitted with a 240 mm disc with a dual-piston Nissin floating caliper.
In the performance department, the 2011 Aprilia RXV 450 Tuareg Rally Replica had its soul brought to life by a 449cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine that delivered an output power of 60 hp at 13,000 rpm and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) torque at 11,000 rpm.
