In 2010, a French Ducati dealership decided to sell a limited number of Casey Stoner Ducati 1198S Phillip Island Replica machines to commemorate the 2009 race at Phillip Island. The bike was dressed in the same livery Stoner ran in his home race.
The 2010 special edition machine featured a Bloody's Paint Forbach paint job with additional top-end Ducati Performance components and a full titanium Ducati Corse 70 mm Termignoni exhaust system.
In other departments, the 2010 Ducati 1198S Casey Stoner Phillip Island Replica was identical to the standard S version, packing the same 1198cc engine, braking, and suspension systems.
The bike had its soul brought to life by a 1,198cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine, fed by an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, boasting 170 hp with a peak force at 9,750 rpm and 132 Nm (97 lb-ft) torque at 8,000 rpm.
The power produced by the engine was handled by a six-speed manual transmission with a dry multi-place hydraulic clutch and a final chain drive, pushing the bike to 281 kph (175 mph).
In the suspension department, the bike packed a 43 mm fully adjustable upside-down Ohlins on the front with 120 mm wheel travel. On the rear, it had a fully adjustable Ohlins Shock absorber with 127 mm wheel travel.
Two 330 mm discs with four-piston calipers on the front and a 245 mm disc with a dual-piston caliper on the rear achieved the braking performance.
