　　The 2001 MY Gilera Coguar 125 boasts fittings such as a dual seat with lumbar support for the rider, laced wheels, a raked-out front end, dual shock as a rear suspension, a telescopic front fork, a front disc brake coupled to a rear drum, analogue instrumentation dials, wide handlebars, a chromed, pea-shooter exhaust system and a chromed headlight nacelle.

　　In the engine department it is powered by a four-stroke, air-cooled, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, that can produce a claimed 11 horsepower and 9 Nm of torque.
