　　The 1990 MY Gilera Saturno 500 boasts a maximum power output of 44 horsepower and 46 Nm of torque from its four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 492cc, single cylinder engine, that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive.

　　The Italian engineers have also fitted this machine with a steel, trellis frame, die-cast aluminium wheels, a single seat with lumbar support for the rider, a half-fairing with a windscreen, front and rear disc brakes, a Marzocchi suspension package composed of a 40mm telescopic fork coupled to a an adjustable monoshock in the rear, an analogue instrument cluster and a side-mounted, high exhaust system.
