The Harley-Davidson Breakout was first introduced in 2012 and discontinued for the American market in 2020, while in other markets, it continued to be sold. But it reappeared in 2023 with a host of new features.
In 2023, the American motorcycle manufacturer launched the Harley-Davidson Breakout 117, a bike that received the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine rather than the old 114 unit, with plenty of grunts to take upon other powerful machines.
In the visual department, the bike packed standard features, such as a raked front fork, a single headlight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a two-piece dual seat, a shiny chromed engine, a dual exhaust system mounted on the right side of the bike, and 26-spoke cast-aluminum wheels.
Also, the bike's ergonomics were altered to make the machine accessible for more riders by slightly lengthening the diagonally-mounted handlebar riser, which brought the polished stainless steel handlebar and grips closer to the rider.
Underneath the beautifully sculpted fuel tank, the 2023 Harley-Davidson Breakout 117 had installed a 1,923cc Milwaukee-Eight engine fed by a fuel injection system, boasting 110 hp with a peak force at 4,750 rpm and 167 Nm (123 lb-ft) torque at 3,500 rpm.
The 2023 Breakout 117 was available in four color choices, including Vivid Black at an MSRP of $20,999 and three other colors, Black Denim, Baja Orange, and Atlas Silver Metallic at an MSRP of $21,524.
