　　The 2009 MY Harley Davidson FLHT Electra Glide Standard sports an air-cooled, 1584cc, Twin Cam 96 V-twin powerplant mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a Cruise Drive technology, and reaches a peak torque of 125 Nm at 3500 rpm.

　　As all the touring machine from the MoCo, it has received the new touring FL chassis, which improve its stability, comfort and maneuverability. Other features include new Dunlop tires, a new, 2-1-2 exhaust system, a new licence plate location with LED illumination, a bat-wing, fork-mounted fairing, a fairing-mounted speedometer and tachometer, plus lockable, GTX saddlebags.
