As with previous models, the 2017 Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V retained the exact visual, technical, and performance specifications without any significant modifications, except for color alterations.
The Norge 1200 GT 8V motorcycle was inspired by the Breva model. The main difference was the front fairing, covering eighty percent of the engine and providing better wind protection. The fairing comprised a tip that diverted the airflow from the engine base and two other small fairings on the sides.
The 2017 motorcycle was produced around a double-cradle steel frame with a 45 mm preload-adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a single-sided swingarm with an adjustable shock on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling.
In the braking department, the bike's wheels were fitted with two 320 mm stainless steel floating discs on the front coupled to four-piston calipers and a 282 mm fixed disc on the rear tied to a dual-piston caliper, offering excellent stopping power.
Power-wise, the 2017 Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V had its soul brought to life by a 1,151cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine with a fuel injection system in charge, delivering 102 hp at 7,000 rpm and 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) torque at 5,500 rpm.
In the visual department, the bike remained unchanged, with standard features, like a dual headlight system, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab handles, side-mounted panniers (also available with a top case), and three-spoke aluminum wheels.
