　　The 2011 MY Piaggio MP3 400 closes the gap between its 250 and 500 MP3 siblings, being designed as a bridge between the two. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 398cc, single cylinder Master powerhouse mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 34 horsepower and 37 Nm of torque. As its siblings, it comes standard with a large windscreen, as well as a spacious dual seat with pillion grab-rails, and a generous under-seat storage compartment which can fit two full-sized helmets. In addition, it can corner better, as well as offer a plush ride, thanks to the parallelogram front suspension system, with electro-hydraulic suspension locking system, as well as the two dual effect hydraulic shocks in the rear, which have a four-position spring preload adjustability.
