　　There is a high-output (HO) engine at the heart of the 2011 Polaris Sportsman 400 HO, created to provide safe dependable transportation on rough terrain. This quad comes with an on-demand AWD system which engages the 4WD when needed, returning to RWD as the obstacles are surmounted: this means an even easier operation, even for the fresh, inexperienced riders.

　　With an easy-to-use automatic transmission, the 2011 Polaris Sportsman 400 HO also comes with strong skid plates shielding the underbelly and shafts from rocks and bumps, while the strong hydraulic disk brakes and steel-braided lines ensure firm, dependable stopping power. A front storage box is fitted as standard, and Polaris also has a wide variety of accessories for the Sportsman 400 HO.
