　　The 2009 MY Rieju Motors SMX 50 mainly addresses less-experienced and younger riders who want an entry-level machine. It comes with cast-aluminium wheels, which lower its unsprung weight and aid with maneuverability and overall performance on the track, a 36mm Paioli telescopic fork, a rear monoshock unit, a 260mm front disc brake and a 200 mm rear one, as well as a race-inspired livery and graphic scheme. Also, it tips the scale at only 92 kg, making it one of the lightest machines in its class.
