In 2013, Suzuki launched the Boulevard C50, a classic tourer that retained its crown as the iconic middleweight classic cruiser in Suzuki's range. The model draws its design from classic Suzuki models, packed in a tasty combination of old and modern designs.
Just like any respectable cruiser, the 2013 Suzuki Boulevard C50 offered a comfortable riding position and a relaxing riding experience matched by the performance of a V-Twin engine designed to deliver low-mid torque right from the idle.
Some of the key elements that enhanced the riding quality of the C50 model were the wide pulled-back handlebars, forward-mounted floorboards, a wide leather seat matched by a smooth suspension, and top-end performance.
Also, the engine featured a Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system for optimal fuel delivery, crisp throttle response, and maximum power throughout the rpm range and an Auto Fast Idle System (AFIS) that offered precise cold engine starts.
The 2013 Suzuki Boulevard C50 model took its thrust from an 805cc four-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 52 hp at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm (51 lb-ft) of torque available at 3,200 rpm. On the right side of the bike, a chromed and staggered exhaust system delivered a deep rumbling noise and a strong low-end torque output.
