The 2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50SE was a middleweight tourer motorcycle that featured the same equipment as the C50 Touring version but with a less ostentatious livery.
The model packed a more serious look without the shiny seats, passenger backrest, and saddlebags studs, while the glossy black paint job offered a more sober yet elegant look. Also, the white-wall tires, were replaced by classic ones that added to an overall rather commanding attitude.
On the tech side, nothing difered from the base model, with the 805cc V-Twin liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine mated to the same five-speed transmission and a low-maintenance shaft drive. Suited for the less experienced riders, the 2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50SE was also an equally rewarding machine for seasoned motorcyclists.
The Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system offered smooth throttle response and high torque output, while the dual spark plug system delivered better combustion and lower emissions.
The 805cc powerplant delivered an output power of 52 hp at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm (51 lb-ft) of torque available at 3,200 rpm and featured a chromed and staggered dual exhaust system tuned for strong torque delivery and designed for a deep roaring sound.
Also, the bike featured a wide seat, wide pulled-back handlebars, and forward-mounted floorboards and controls for a more comfortable riding position, while the look was topped by a low-maintenance, lightweight LED taillight and wire-spoked wheels with chrome-plated rims.
