The Triumph Rocket 3 was a motorcycle manufactured by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. from 2019 to the present. Like its predecessor, the bike was characterized by a larger 2,458cc engine than any other production machine with much higher torque.
In 2021, the Triumph line-up comprised two limited edition motorcycles, the new Rocket 3 R Black and Rocket 3 GT Triple Black, which, as their name says, came in a dark, meaner, muscular appearance.
Both machines came in limited numbers, 1,000 motorcycles each worldwide, but also featured a certificate of authenticity with a specific VIN number. The motorcycles featured a black-out appearance with a premium carbon fiber mudguard fitted as standard.
The 2021 Triumph 3 R Black Limited Edition delivered a massive performance with its 2,458cc three-cylinder water-cooled engine, the world’s largest unit and the most torquier one. The engine produced 167 hp with a peak at 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm (163 lb-ft) torque at 4,000 rpm.
For appearance, the bike featured many blacked-out components, including radiator cowls, fly screen finishers, footpegs, brake and gear pedals, swingarm guard, side stand, brake and clutch levers, frame, engine, fuel tank, and many more.
The bike was built on a lightweight aluminum frame with a 47 mm adjustable upside-down fork on the front and a fully adjustable Showa piggyback shock absorber on the rear, offering excellent handling and suspension performance.
In addition, the 2021 Triumph 3 R Black Limited Edition and its touring brother featured a wide range of Triumph Genuine Accessories for it to be tailored by the riders in their own style.
