The holidays are a time for the best of humanity to show itself, to rise to the surface and do good unto others. This to show it some compassion. This little old friend-shaped car needs a warm garage for the new year, and you’re just the person to give it one. Go rescue this Fuldamobil Type S, and never let it spend a night out in the cold again.

Based on the same architecture as its predecessor Type N “Silver Flea,” the Type S received a much more aerodynamic rounded body shape, turning it from a slab-sided can of ham into a three-wheeled Porsche 356-esque micro machine. This one was built under contract at the NWF factory, where around 1,000 cars per month were cranked out as demand outpaced what Fuldamobil could build in its own factory. The NWF cars, like this one, featured a 200cc ILO-Motorenwerke aircooled single-cylinder engine making around 9.5 horsepower.

This little guy is a smidge rough around the edges, but it appears to have most of its components intact, and could likely be driven with just a bit of tinkering. These cars are so incredibly simple, in that they operate a bit like large scooters. With a bit of elbow grease, I’m almost sure it’ll crank over and start up. You want to throw caution to the wind and give it a shot yourself.

Okay, definitely throw a new cover on that seat before you drive it, though. Or at least a moving blanket or something. Ew.

This Fulda is located in the Czech Republic (just 10 miles from the German border), and of bringing home a new friend. As the temperatures start approaching freezing, you’ll really want to hurry. We can’t let this little guy freeze and starve just sitting out in the Czech countryside. Bring him home. We all love a weird little guy, don’t we folks?

This Hilarious Customized Nissan Versa Has A Ridiculous Mod I've Never Seen Before
The Nissan Versa, despite its very reasonable pricing and possession of four wheels and an engine, has never really been a popular choice for modders, perhaps because it’s a pretty soulless transportation appliance. That didn’t stop one Craigslist seller from , in a way that includes a bizarre and...

We just passed the Winter Solstice which of course means it’s time to start thinking about top-down summer driving in cars like today’s Solara. Let’s see if this forgotten Toyota is priced to make those future memories. Hotrodding has long involved the cramming of big mills into little cars,...

‘The World’s Most Extraordinary Car Keys’ Versus My Car Keys: An In-Depth Comparison
While I often try to forget its existence, I was again reminded this week about the concept of ultra-luxury, bejeweled car keys—you know, the kinds of keys for people whose on the front of one of their four dozen supercars just isn’t enough. It was at that point I...

At $2,999, Would This 1965 Ford Thunderbird Be A Classical Gas?
Today’s T-bird boasts cool sequential turn signals that would be later shared with the Shelby GT350. Let’s see if that alone is worth turning out its asking price. There aren’t that many Toyota models that are rightfully considered to be collectible, and I’m not sure the we looked at...

Here's A List Of Cars You Could Buy Instead Of This Ugly Jacket
This past Sunday, with no one to see and nowhere to be, I decided to head to the Upper East Side in Manhattan to check out Barneys New York’s going-out-of-business sale. I’d never been to this department store before—it was far too expensive to be interesting—but now that it’s...
