If you haven't seen the quarter-mile world record holding drag truck's 8.07 second run, it's worth watching just to hear a 1,700 horsepower Chevy Silverado idle.

The record this truck holds specifically is for "1999 and newer Chevy pickups." That might not be the most populated category of competition, but Rigo Trevino's turbo 427-powered Silverado puts on a hell of a show.
