We're about to have two of the cutest soft-core "off-roaders" on sale. The , which is something like a lifted hot hatch with a seven-slat grille and the ; a jacked-up Beetle with a spoiler/ski-rack. Which wins your dirt-road pageant in all-around awesomeness?

The Renegade is coming out with a diesel version and AWD, while the Dune is stuck with 2WD... but I have to admit a modern sand-Beetle is pretty appealing, even if it's one in appearance only.
