Either the glare-filter on this teaser video is dialed up to 11, or the interior of the and Navara will look familiar to anyone who's spent time in a modern Nissan; glossy piano-black trim panels and shiny chrome looks more "family friendly SUV" than rough n' tumble pickup truck.

Nissan might be trying to bring more folks into the pickup truck fold, invite an easier transition from their other vehicles, or just synchronize their lineup. From what you can see here, is this look working for you?

From the outside, it looks like Nissan is sticking to the outgoing truck's tidy (small) proportions, but we'll have to see wait 'til we see it in context to compare it with other vehicles.

Full, official unveiling comes the day after tomorrow. Despite Nissan's ardent claims that this "isn't the new Frontier," I'm still convinced it's the new Navara, and that that truck will be aesthetically identically to the US market Frontier as it has in the past.
