2019 Tesla Model 3 Price Drop-May 2024
2024-01-19 EST 22:32:39

The 2019 Tesla Model 3 is a highly sought-after electric vehicle that has captured the market with its stylish design, exhilarating driving dynamics, and impressive range. This compact sports sedan comfortably seats five passengers and competes directly against other leading compact EVs on the market.

Exterior-wise, the Model 3 showcases a modern and aerodynamic profile, featuring a smooth roofline and an absent front grille due to its all-electric nature. Standard equipment includes LED lighting for both headlights and taillights, as well as auto-dimming, heated, and power-folding side mirrors. The base model rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, but buyers can opt for larger 19- or 20-inch versions. The Long Range and Performance trims also come with LED fog lights for enhanced visibility in poor weather conditions.

Inside, the Model 3's interior is minimalist yet sophisticated, dominated by a large 15-inch touchscreen interface that handles most vehicle functions. Despite its streamlined appearance, the cabin provides sufficient comfort with 12-way power-adjustable and heated front seats, although space may feel more compact than some competitors. The trunk offers 15 cubic feet of cargo capacity, and the Long Range and Performance models provide additional luxury with heated rear seats.

Performance is where the Model 3 truly shines, delivering sporty handling and rapid acceleration. The entry-level Standard Range Plus variant comes with a single motor powering the rear wheels and a standard battery pack providing an estimated 240-mile range per charge. The higher-tier Long Range and Performance models are equipped with dual-motor all-wheel drive and boast an extended-range battery, offering up to 310 miles on a full charge. All variants feature a simple and efficient single-speed automatic transmission.

When it comes to charging, the Model 3 can gain up to 44 miles of range per hour using a 240-volt home charger, while Tesla's Supercharger network enables quick top-ups, adding up to 180 miles of range in just 15 minutes.

In terms of efficiency, the EPA estimates the fuel economy equivalent for the Standard Range Plus at 140 mpg city/124 mpg highway, while the long-range and performance models achieve a rating of 120 mpg city/122 mpg highway.

Technologically advanced, the Model 3 features a comprehensive infotainment system managed through a large central touchscreen. The standard audio setup consists of six speakers, 200 watts of power, and Bluetooth connectivity. Higher trim levels upgrade to a premium sound system with 14 speakers, a subwoofer, and dual amplifiers pushing out 560 watts. Navigation and internet browsing capabilities, along with streaming music and media services, are included in these trims.

Safety is paramount, with the Model 3 coming standard with safety features such as forward collision warning and blind-spot monitoring. It also incorporates Tesla's Autopilot suite, which maintains safe distances from vehicles ahead and keeps the car within lane lines. Upgrades are available for semi-autonomous driving on highways and self-parking capabilities, including parallel and perpendicular parking assistance.

This specific 2019 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus on offer has:

  - Transmission: 1-Speed Automatic

  - Mileage: 36,652 miles

  - Drive Type: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD)

  - Fuel Type: Electric

  - Exterior Color: Pearl White Multi-Coat

  - Interior Color: Black
