If you’re in the market for a mid-size crossover, minivan, or mini truck, you probably want to use it to haul things — people, groceries, . You may even want to haul more than the car itself can hold, which would be a problem had humanity not invented the trailer hitch. For owners of , , and , however, that’s caused a new problem: Those oh-so-convenient trailer hitches are now a fire risk.

Kia and Hyundai have recalled a combined 571,467 cars for faulty trailer hitch wiring, which could cause the car to erupt in flame without warning. The fix itself is simple — a replacement wiring kit with a new fuse — but the danger is real enough that both companies have advised owners not to park their cars near anything flammable until the vehicles can be repaired.

While advanced in design, Fiat's X1/9 was ephemeral in its execution, and few have stood the test of time. Today's '78 however has not only passed time's test, it went back for some alloy-rim extra credit. It turns out big willie style was a page of the Karma Sutra that...

Like Carroll Shelby before him, Steve Saleen is a former racer who has made a name for himself building performance cars. Today's Saleen Focus N2O may not have the cachet of Carroll's name, but is its price noteworthy? Steve Saleen started out racing Porsches in club events. He transitioned to...

Patience is a virtue, and for the seller of today's BMW 535iM, who has been trying to unload his car for two years, his tenacity rivals that of the biblical Job. But, do good things come to those who wait? Yesterday there was no waiting on and fully 71% of...

When it comes to automotive artistic expression, Chevy's Suburban offers a generous canvas. Today's custom '98 may be more urban than suburban, but is its price a work of art? Poor Steve Saleen, first he chooses a monastic haircut that only serves to highlight his male pattern baldness, and then...
