The Ducati Panigale V2 began its life as a successor to the Panigale 959. The bike was presented in 2019 and released in 2020. The sports bike packed an aluminum monocoque frame that used the engine as a stressed member.
The engine's bore and stroke remained unchanged; further re-engineering brought a five-hp increase and complied with the EURO5 emission standards. The bike was named after the district of Borgo Panigale and packed a 955cc V-twin engine.
In 2023, the Italian manufacturer released the Ducati Panigale V2, a sports motorcycle that retained the Ducati superbike allure with a simple design and clear-cut lines. Like every high-end sports machine manufactured by Ducati, the V2 also wares a single-sided swingarm.
The bike's fairing comprised two pieces: a main frame that went straight up and integrated into the fuel tank and a second layer that served as an air vent. The front fairing featured two massive air intakes with integrated LED headlights.
Underneath its fuel tank, the manufacturer installed a 995cc L-twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered excellent power and torque. As for the power figures, the 2023 Panigale V2 boasted 155 hp at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) torque at 9,000 rpm.
The bike's riding performance was handled by a 43 mm fully adjustable Showa fork on the front and a fully adjustable Sachs shock with a single-sided swingarm, offering excellent handling capabilities.
As for the stopping power, the Y-spoke wheels were fitted on the front with two 320 mm discs engaged by hydraulic calipers and a 245 mm disc with a hydraulic caliper on the rear wheel.
The 2023 Ducati Panigale V2 was released at an MSRP of $18,295 with the Ducati Red color scheme and $18,595 with the Black-on-Black livery.
