Almost unchanged since its early days, the XR650L is probably one of the best true dual-sport bikes ever made. Street legal and even a decent bike on the highway, it's beyond the point where asphalt ends where the 2004 Honda XR650L starts showing its true nature. Air-adjustable, long-travel suspensions and big, laced wheels are taking care of obstacles and trail unevenness, while the torquey single-cylinder provides all the nerve needed for passing rough sections.
The bike can also accommodate a lot of gear with optional luggage systems and is great for adventures in the wild, provided you bring some extra fuel with you, as the small tank is the only detail which prevents this bike form being a real Ride The World machine.
