The 1853cc air-cooled v-twin got an EFI system fro crisp and precise acceleration with improved mileage, while the cylinders received Yamaha's top-drawer ceramic coating.

　　The 2005 Stratoliner also gets self-canceling turn signals with clear lenses, LED tail lights, a low fuel light, a sealed battery, a fork lock ignition, extra wide brake and clutch levers, a detachable windshield.
