Ask Us All Your Deep Burning Questions About The Porsche Macan Turbo
Ask Us All Your Deep Burning Questions About The Porsche Macan Turbo-April 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:13:20

First of all, yes, the Turbo is every bit a real, fast, delightfully precise, surprisingly unforgiving, firecracker of a Porsche. Next question.

I just had the privilege of racking up about 500 miles on what’s unofficially the “enthusiast spec” of the new Macan SUV (crossover?) hatchback on steroids. It had the turbo engine, seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, 21” wheels wide enough to work as steamrollers, and basically no luxury options for an MSRP of around $80,000. Please recognize the gravity of this statement; it just might be worth that kind of money.

Now let’s hear everything you’re interested in about this car, I’ll try to answer your questions here and address them more thoroughly in the review.

Americans Are Like Ravenous Zombies For Range Rovers
Despite Land Rover's Solihull factory cranking out Range Rovers 24 hours a day, the waiting list for a 2014 model is as long as four months in parts of the US. "It is amazing how many people have owned five, six, seven Range Rovers," Land Rover brand president Kim McCullough...

You'll Want Ken Block's RaptorTRAX Even More Once You See The Bed
dropped pictures of Ken Block's noshing snow in Aspen, quietly revealing a feature I reckon is almost as awesome as those Mattracks: rear-facing racing seats in the bed. Riding in the rear-facers of my aunt's old Volvo wagon was exhilarating as a kid. Multiply that experience by a factor of...

Richard Hammond Races Ridiculous Trucks On Track And Explodes
Richard Hammond Races Ridiculous Trucks On Track And Explodes
Hammond and a grid of pro racers take to the track in a pack of film-support trucks littering the tarmac with pyrotechnics, toilets, and hot dogs in this insane, not-yet-aired Top Gear wacky race. A "no-contact rule" is quickly abandoned and, spoiler alert, there's a lot of carnage. I can...

Doing The Desert On Big Ol' Chrome Wheels
Doing The Desert On Big Ol' Chrome Wheels
Chain strip clubs, Waffle House, and Chevy's disco-ball pickup... not the America I'm use to, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having a great time with the Silverado High Country in Arizona. I'll have a full review on Truck Yeah! soon. After my first few hours with...

Is The Chevrolet Reaper A Real Raptor Killer Or Dealership Side Show?
Is The Chevrolet Reaper A Real Raptor Killer Or Dealership Side Show?
If imitation is the highest form of flattery, the Ford Raptor should be blushing its face off when the Chevrolet Reaper hits dealerships. Besides a phonetically similar name, the jacked-up Silverado features pretty much the same graphics package as Ford's raging dinosaur. The also packs a Corsa exhaust, Lingenfelter supercharger,...
