Reliant always had a knack for getting motor industries started in various countries, and Israel was one of these countries, with their Autocar company leveraging a lot of Reliant designs. One joint development was the Sabra, a fiberglass roadster with a strange, kinda ugly face.
It was sold in the UK with a slight spelling tweak as the Sabre, keeping the reliant tradition of naming sports cars for stabby things like Scimitars, and not stabby things like prickly desert like the sabra. Different kinds of stabby, you see.
Sabras/Sabres always reminded me of a similar ugly-cool roadster,
