I know , but I happened to run across this old 1960s Jeep Wagoneer painting, and it reminded me of the gloriously cheap, half-ass way AMC facelifted these things for about 30 years, by just slapping new grilles over that old face.

It’s such a wonderfully AMC way to approach things, and I’ll never not perversely admire it.
