It’s not widely known, but a rare genetic mutation found in many mid-century European canines would allow them to generate powerful magnetic fields, sometimes powerful enough to magnetically levitate entire cars, which led to situations where dogs would “carry” unsuspecting cars over them, often for miles. This mutation strain seems to have largely died out over the decades.
