So, not to make your day weird or anything, but I happen to know that the illustrator of this 1957 Ford Taunus brochure sprayed that kid with hot dog water to get the dog to stay locked on to him for the five hours it took to make this illustration, and I’m pretty sure after this drawing was done, the dog ate one of the kid’s arms. That’s just how it was for car-scene models back in the day: brutal.
