BMW XM Label Red Is a 735 HP Special Edition of the Polarizing Flagship SUV
BMW XM Label Red Is a 735 HP Special Edition of the Polarizing Flagship SUV-February 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:09:20

BMW didn’t show any photos of Label Red, so here’s the regular one.

Listen, the fact that as its flagship model is already pretty over the top. Of course, nothing excels like excess, and so BMW also announced another special, limited version of the XM on Tuesday. It’s called the XM Label Red, and it’s even more ridiculous than the normal version.

Ridiculous how? Well, it cranks the XM’s output up to a frankly stupid 735 hp and 725 pound-feet of torque. That’s over 100 hp more than BMW’s current reining champ for horsepower, . In an SUV. That you can plug into a wall. These are wild times we live in, friends.

Of course, the Label Red situation likely won’t do much to improve upon the XM’s already polarizing styling. Still, I suppose at the end of the day, that’s a problem for the people with the $185,000 or more necessary to put one in their garage, and if you’re even considering shelling out that much for a new Bimmer, your mind is likely already made up.

The Label Red is just the first in a series of limited Label versions of the XM, and it’s supposed to start production in the summer of 2023.

What To Do If A Dealership Rips You Off
What To Do If A Dealership Rips You Off
Getting hosed at the dealership is no fun, especially if you don’t catch it until after you’ve made the purchase. It’s a crappy feeling to realize you paid more than you should have, and while there isn’t often much you can do legally, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try something....

For $9,995, Could This 1980 Toyota Celica GT Be The Grand Prize?
Today’s Celica is a rare USGP edition, and a car that apparently has had its entire service history documented in detail. It’s in great shape too, but will its price prove to be one record not worth chronicling? You can always tell when a brand is it trouble when they...

Jeff’s marriage didn’t work out as planned, and now it’s just him and his dog. They want to hit the road with the pup for some adventure. The problem is that his Mini isn’t really big enough for the both of them. What car should he buy? (Welcome back to...

For $3,795, Do You Think This 1993 Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible Will Cut Like A Knife?
The Olds Cutlass was once America’s #1 selling car. Today’s edition hails from well past those glory days, but maybe this droptop’s price will prove just as glorious. When considered by the pound or square inch, yesterday’s proved to appear almost economical. That factor, along with what I think is...

The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Is Sterile But Has A Third Row Because You Aren't
The all-new is an attractive, spacious crossover, compact in name only, with a wide range of options and, thankfully, at least one fun color choice. That’s pretty much where the car’s personality ends, but I still found a lot to like about this thing. It’s here to address a lot...
