Carpenter Brut — 'Turbo Killer'
Carpenter Brut — 'Turbo Killer'-April 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:12:09

Ever since I first started reading Jalopnik in 2010 I’ve wanted to write my own Traffic Jams. Now I’m finally at the helm and achieving a bucket list item this morning. It’s time to expose you to my music. Let’s start your Tuesday off with fast cars and a rapid beating heart: it’s Carpenter Brut’s Turbo Killer!

First, let me again say welcome back to Jalopnik! We’ve had a lot of time to think during our tumultuous and tearjerking week away from the office. At the other end we’ve come up with some ideas to make the Jalopnik experience better. One of them is the return of the fan favorite, Traffic Jams. You can expect us to flood you with our music tastes.

I listen to all kinds of music on the road, but my preferred tunes for driving are high-energy. There’s something epic about a gear lever in your hand, an open road and a track pushing you to give that car your all. This track hits just the spot.

I hope this makes your commute a blast. Full disclaimer: I am not responsible for any speeding tickets you get today.

Subaru Had It Right All Along
When first came to the United States, it sold small funky cars that were decidedly un-American. As the company grew its own identity and became more established in the U.S., it became the first automaker to offer an all-wheel-drive passenger car in 1975. Subaru was also an early-adopter of...

I Entered My Lifted Miata In A Real Off-Road Race, Here's What Happened
I have two automotive loves: The first is the Miata, the second is off-road racing. For a while I raced air-cooled Volkswagens in the deserts of California and Nevada and I was lucky enough to co-drive in a class 11 stock bug in the Baja 1000 a few years...
