Every real fly fisherman knows all about enjoying hard liquor and finger sandwiches on fine china and stitched leather. It’s really about time we got a worthy of this pastime.

Bentley’s new quarter-million dollar SUV is fast, fancy and a little hard to pronounce. Now it can be ordered with an elaborate fly fishing kit…? I mean, nothing goes with the great outdoors like overwrought designer accessories.

I’m not sure if anyone’s actually meant to buy this or somebody at Bentley just really wanted these press photos. But the Bentayga sure does look fresh with excessive color-saturation and this rich man-caricature posed next to it!

The Bentley-approved fishing set is real. Simply called “Fly Fishing by Mulliner” it includes four rods (bring that lovely couple from the club!) “stored in special tubes trimmed in Saddle leather with Linen cross-stitching and located on the underside of the parcel shelf. A pair of landing nets in matching leather bags are stored in a bespoke, carpet-trimmed hard pocket built into the side of the boot,” as described in the .

A “master tackle station” and “refreshment case” slide out like drawers, and the whole loadout is swathed in Burr Walnut, cross-stitched leather and machined aluminum.

That refreshment case is packed with three flasks and fine china of course.

And in case you were worried about spilling guts on your $200,0000 “fishing truck,” a really nice version of WeatherTech floor protections is discreetly included. Along with an electric dehumidifier should any dampness from your wilderness adventure dare linger in the vehicle as you head home.

I shot a message to Bentley’s PR man-of-record, Marc Mustard, to ask about the price. Will update when he gets back to me. But I have a feeling, if you have to ask, you’re not balling hard enough to take a Bentley fishing.
