Fisker's Real $130,000 Electric Car Is Toned Down But Still Pretty Crazy
Fisker's Real $130,000 Electric Car Is Toned Down But Still Pretty Crazy-November 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:10:39

Fisker has released three teaser images of its real $130,000 electric car called the , and it’s definitely a tamer look than the Hot Wheels concept car from a few months ago. It looks like an alien ship from Independence Day disguised as an early-2000s Japanese luxury car.

Along with the official price of the car, which is technically $129,900 starting, Fisker announced that its plans for production of the EMotion won’t kick in until 2019, and pre-orders for the car start at the end of the month, on June 30th.

Fisker claims the EMotion can quick-charge up to 100 miles of range in just nine minutes, and features a LIDAR and optical sensor setup offering full 360-degree sensing, and a super safe aluminum and carbon fiber construction. Fisker also claims the car will get a 400 mile range with a top speed of 161 miles per hour.

The full reveal of the look and specs of the car will roll out later this month. The EMotion still isn’t definitely pretty, but at least it’s lost some of the glaring bulges and creases of the concept. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with those lights up top. But it’s definitely different!
