After numerous rumours suggesting the Focus RS will be coming in 2016, Ford has confirmed via a teaser video that the 2016 Focus RS will be officially revealed on February 3.
The car is still wrapped in camouflage, and details are yet to be revealed. The only thing available is the video, which shows the RS being put through the paces at one of Fords testing circuits.
While we dont have the official details as yet, it has been previously mentioned that the car will be equipped a 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that delivers between 242 and 261 kW. This unit will supposedly be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
Ford further confirmed that the 2016 Focus RS will be offered in “major markets around the world for the first time.”
