It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a supercharged big-block V8 and tremendously unsafe weight distribution.

Fans of Motor Trend’s YouTube series Roadkill might recognize this 1950 Ford F6 dump truck as “Stubby Bob,” one of the many beautiful bastardizations created by Mike Finnegan and David Freiburger to take on dangerous and hilarious automotive adventures.

The wheelbase is stripped to a scant 102 inches, with a “set up like a ’60s dragstrip exhibition wheelstander” apparently including “a Gearstar 4L80E transmission and a V-drive from a boat” all hooked up to a backward-mounted Chevy V8.

It’s not completely clear why the Roadkill crew felt the world needed a vintage wheelie-doing dump truck, but you can’t argue with their commitment. Having already spent so much time hacking and tacking on this old Ford in previous episodes, Freiburger has an epiphany: “why does the engine have to be in the front?”

A monster is created, hilarity ensues, and I’ll never look at an old Ford the same way.
