Following theteaser of the Jaguar C-X17 Concept released last week, additional pictures have emerged showing mostly the front view of the car which will be shown in the metal at the Frankfurt Motor Show starting tomorrow.
Apparently the SUV is likely to go into production in 2016, and it will bring with it the option for a Jaguar-developed four-cylinder engine. Styling cues although being a bit oversized, seem to be taken from recent Jaguar models. These include the large front grille and air intakes,a tailgate-mounted spoiler, sloping roofline and F-Type-inspired taillights.
The Jaguar C-X17 Concept is further described as a design study which introduces a “highly-advanced, modular aluminum architecture”. More details will be disclosed once the car gets its official debut.
