Jalopnik Reviews: 2006 Ford Five Hundred SEL AWD, Part 3
Jalopnik Reviews: 2006 Ford Five Hundred SEL AWD, Part 3-August 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:10:22

The Five Hundred is exactly what middle America needs: an old school Yank tank with reasonable gas mileage and laudable safety. If you re in the cop or carriage trade, or have a wife whose idea of packing light squares with Joan Collins , the Five Hundred s cavernous trunk will whale your Jonahs with ease. And the Five Hundred s all-wheel-drive option ($1700) may do nothing for the barge s handling, but it s snow joke for cold climate commuters.

Because you have a pulse.

Don’t Expect To Pay Less Than $1,000 Per Month For A Ford Ranger Raptor
Ford’s is sure to be just as hot as its F-150 Raptor and stablemates. I could only imagine what’s going to happen with these things at the dealer level. But if you do manage to find a dealer willing to sell you one at MSRP, you’re still going to...

At $19,500, Is This Supercharged 2011 Mazda Miata Special Edition A Special Deal?
Mazda’s Miata has always punched above its weight class, and today’s Special Edition is no exception. Let’s see if you all take exception to how hard this MX5’s price hits. Having been built so long ago, yesterday’s wasn’t just a neo-classic, it was also just plain old. Add to...

Teslas are finally after 10 years of promises to bring a sub-$35,000 EV to market. In certain parts of California, a brand-new will run customers just $19,830. That’s of its MSRP of $40,240. Of course, this Model 3 isn’t coming straight from the factory at that price; you have...

At $10,500, Is This Near-Perfect 1974 Mercury Comet Worth Its Museum Money Asking?
There are quite a few cars from the 1970s worth saving and collecting, but few might consider today’s Comet among them. Regardless, it’s here, it’s fabulous, and we’re going to judge it. Few of us would like to chew someone else’s half-enjoyed bubble gum. In the same fashion, there’s...
