If you follow racing in the U.S., you probably already know about the . Most of the episodes are too much of a distraction to put on as background noise while you work, but a couple of recent entries in his series have been working incredibly well for me.

Marshall is about as well-connected and respected as racing journalists get, which means he gets fun opportunities like making beautiful recordings of race cars ripping around great tracks.

If you’ve been listening to his pod for a while, you know the drill: Quick intro from Marshall, and a long stretch of pure sound. Like I said, I have a hard time listening to podcasts while I work, I can really only pay attention to work or the pod, but over the break Marshall sent me the two most recent recordings, this one:

I’ve been working to them since, and it’s just the perfect amount of engagement...as long as I don’t get stuck trying to figure out where the cars are on the track from the audio. Check ‘em out!
