Official images of the Mazda2 Sedan have been revealed ahead of the vehicles public debut scheduled for next week at the Thailand International Motor Expo.

The all-new Mazda2 is the fourth in Mazda’s line-up of new-generation vehicles adopting the full range of SKYACTIV technologies and the KODO-Soul of Motion design theme. Visually, the car seems to have downsized to the size of the Mazda3, however it comes with more appealing design features from the rest in its segment.

Power will come from a SKYACTIV-D 1.5-litre diesel engine capable of delivering 77 kW and 220 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption figures are yet to be released but it’s expected the sedan will return figures close to those of the Mazda2 hatchback which sit at 3.4L/100 km with CO2 emissions of 89g/km.
