New BMW 4 Series with M Performance Parts
New BMW 4 Series with M Performance Parts-September 2024
2023-12-14 EST 02:30:33

The new BMW 4 Series has finally been revealed and for buyers looking to beef-up the appearance of the new 4 Series coupe even further, refer to BMW’sM Performance Parts catalogue…

Coinciding with the launch of the new 4 Series, BMW is also offering M Performance Parts that will add a few dollops of extra road presence to your new 4 Series coupe.

Liberal use of carbon fibre goes a long way in upping the sportiness of the package and carbon fibre inserts can be found in the front air curtains and even the outer edges of the large-and-in-charge kidney grille are finished in carbon fibre. The front end is further defined by an aggressive front splitter while canards at either side of the front bumper round off the front view.

Carbon fibre mirror housings and side skirts are also fitted along with blacked-out decals seen on the doors. You will notice the red brake calipers which are offered as an option for the M Performance Braking system for the first time and come nicely paired with Y-spoke alloy wheels shod in Pirelli P-Zero rubber.

Moving to the rear, a carbon fibre spoiler is neatly placed atop the boot lid while a carbon fibre diffuser stands in contrast to the black lower section of the rear bumper.

The package is rounded off with darkened taillights, exhaust pipes and badge.

Inside, buyers can opt for the M Performance steering wheel finished in, you guessed it, carbon fibre, with a red 12 o’clock mark and carbon fibre shift paddles.

The model shown here is the range-topping M440i xDrive with mild-hybrid technology offering 275 kW and 500 Nm of torque from its 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbocharged engine. Zero to 100 kph is claimed at 4.5 seconds.

Lesser derivatives include the 430i with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine with 190 kW and 400 Nm as well as a 420i with 135 kW and 300 Nm. The diesel-powered 420d will offer 141 kW and 400 Nm. All derivatives are mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
