Turkish off-road enthusiasts are converging on the nation's capital region of Ankara this weekend for the championship off-road racing event of their season.

reports that the Turkey Automobile Sports Federation-sanctioned event has attracted registrants from many of the country's provinces. Competition will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, over a course of some 77 kilometers.

The ANDOFF suggests there are some pretty wild off-roaders over there, including a chopped Land Rover Discovery I hope shows up in the grid tomorrow.

Turkish speakers will be able to make more sense of the details than I, but it seems that the organizing group ANDOFF is offering mechanical support services along the route to help teams finish. Good luck to all involved!
