Back in 2011, several HEROES at Nissan got the crazy idea to take the baby 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder engine out of the Juke mini-crossover and swap in the engine and gearbox from the mighty GT-R. The result was the , a 545 horsepower ball of crazy. Now the Juke-R is back with even more power. Hooray!

Nissan announced today that they’ll unveil the Juke-R 2.0 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, and in addition to that groaner of a name, it’s now been “injected with further levels of GT-R testosterone” so it reaches 600 horsepower.

They actually say that, injected with GT-R testosterone. How fun!

The new Juke-R is based on the refreshed Juke that launched last year, but here it packs a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 tuned to the same level of power as the top shelf GT-R Nismo. Nissan’s Le Mans driver and GT Academy ace Jann Mardenborough will drive it at Goodwood’s Hillclimb event.

No word on sale date or production yet, but the last Juke-R was made in super-limited quantities — about 20 were built — and . Start searching your couch cushions for loose change, it’s time to embarrass some supercars.
