Porsche reveals an all-electric Cayenne Coupe with a sweet power boost
Porsche reveals an all-electric Cayenne Coupe with a sweet power boost-April 2024
2026-04-24 EDT 07:31:57

The Porsche Cayenne Coupe has established itself as one of the best-selling Porsche cars. The car was first introduced in 2019, and since then, it has seen unprecedented growth in sales. In 2025 alone, it accounted for 40% of all Cayenne sales in the US. Building on the success, Porsche has announced a fully electric model.

The Cayenne Coupe electric gets its signature look from the sloping roofline that Porsche calls the flyline, a design borrowed from the 911. It sits lower than the standard Cayenne SUV, has a flush rear window, and has a lower drag coefficient of 0.23, making it more efficient.

  What are the performance numbers?

An EV lives or dies on its performance and range. To that end, Porsche has introduced three different models of the Cayenne Coupe, hitting different performance and price ranges.

Recommended Videos All three models run on an 800-volt powertrain with adaptive air suspension. The base Cayenne Coupe Electric delivers 435 hp and 615 ft.-lbs. of torque, reaching 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.

The midrange S Coupe model bumps that to 657 hp with a 3.6-second 0-60, while the Turbo Coupe tops out at 1,139 hp and 1,106 ft.-lbs. of torque, with a 2.4-second 0-60 time.

Max Power Max Torque 0-60 Top Track Speed
Cayenne Coupe 325 kW (435 hp) 615 ft.-lbs. 4.5 s 143 mph
Cayenne S Coupe 490 kW (657 hp) 796 ft.-lbs. 3.6 s 155 mph
Cayenne Turbo Coupe 850 kW (1139 hp) 1106 ft.-lbs. 2.4 s 162 mph
The car is not only fast. It can also tow up to 7,716 lbs, which isnt something youd expect from an electric coupe.

  How fast does it charge?

The 113 kWh battery supports 800-volt DC fast charging. Connected to a compatible 400 kW charger, Porsche says it can go from 10-80% in under 16 minutes under ideal conditions. Its not as good as what the Chinese rivals are offering, but its nothing to scoff at either.

Talking about the pricing, like other Porsche cars, it doesnt come cheap. The Cayenne Coupe Electric starts at $113,800, the S at $131,200, and the Turbo at $168,000, excluding a $2,350 delivery fee.You can order the cars now with deliveries set to begin at the end of summer 2026.
