Just one day , Josef Newgarden has suffered a similar fate during practice.

Newgarden struck the wall at turn one, with the force of the impact sending him through the air, flipping once and landing upside down. Initial reports say he was able to get out of the car himself and was taken to the infield medical center to get checked out.
