?Engine Capability

The 1.6 Expression base model replaces the outgoing ‘Shake It’ model and is fitted with a 1.6-litre, 16-valve four cylinder petrol engine that produces 81kW at 6000rpm with 151Nm of torque available at 4250rpm. The 1.6 Expression will achieve 0-100km/h in 10.5 seconds with a top speed of 190km/h. Fuel consumption is rated at 6.9-litres/100km with a CO2 emissions figure of 159g/km.

The 1.6 Dynamique is also fitted with a 1.6-litre petrol unit as seen in the 1.6 Expression. This power translates into a top speed of 200km/h and will reach 100km/h in 9.8 seconds. Fuel consumption is rated at 4-litres/100km with a CO2 emissions rating of only 104g/km.

The top-end GT Line is powered by a 1.4 Turbo Control Efficiency engine that produces 96kW at 5500rpm with 190Nm of torque at 2250rpm. 100km/h is achieved in 9.7 seconds with a top speed of 200km/h. Fuel consumption is at 6.3-litres/100km while CO2 emissions is rated at 145g/km.

The 1.6 Expression boasts 16-inch ‘Kaleido’ alloy wheels and integrated fog lamps and colour coded side mirrors. The interior features a chrome finish for the gear lever and door handles with dark carbon panels on the dashboard and ventilation surrounds.

The 1.6 Dynamique adds LED daytime running lights, five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured bumpers and side mirrors. The interior gets a leather steering wheel as well as chrome detailing on the instrument cluster, dashboard and steering wheel. The 1.6 Dynamique also benefits from a Carminat TomTom Live integrated navigation system. ??The 1.6 dCi Energy Dynamique shares the same features as the 1.6 Dynamique.

The top-end GT Line features an aggressive front bumper which incorporates boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights and rides on 17-inch ‘Celsium’ Dark Metal alloy wheels. ‘Malta Blue’ is a new colour exclusive to the GT Line. The interior comes with leather and fabric upholstery with RS stitching on the steering wheel rim and gear lever gaiter. Red-pin striping can be seen on the dashboard, analogue instruments, aluminium pedals and GT decals.

The 1.6 Expression’s standard equipment includes a MP3/CD player with Bluetooth, USB and iPod connectivity, manual air-conditioning, multi-function trip computer, electric windows, height adjustable driver’s seat, remote central locking with auto-locking function and cruise control.
