Suzuki Grand Vitara Summit Updated For SA-November 2024

Suzuki has added a fresher appearance and a number of upmarket interior finishes to the Grand Vitara Summit compact SUV.

Fresher looks and upgraded equipment

Visual changes to the Summit include an updated grille finished in dark silver, silver roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels which are also finished in dark silver. The model additionally comes in a new Premium Silver paint colour.

Inside, you will find champagne gold trim accents on the steering wheel, instrument dial surrounds, and side vent bezels as well as on the gearshift knob, while the door panels feature cloth-accented trim with prominent stitching. The seats have also been updated with cloth upholstery with suede-enhanced bolsters.

No mechanical changes have been made to the Grand Vitara Summit as it still features the 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 122 kW and 225 Nm of torque, and can be connected to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV is further equipped with an all-wheel drive system which is linked to a low-range transfer case.

Standard features comprise of central locking, air-conditioning, power steering, electric windows, a four-speaker CD sound system and cruise control.

Safety features include dual front airbags, inertia reel seatbelts, head restraints, and ABS-assisted brakes with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), and emergency braking assistance (EBA).
