The TopGear Festival returns to the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on the weekend of the 15 – 16 June 2013.

This year the show brings with it a new lay-out for the street circuit with enhancements to the track allowing for greater overtaking possibilities and improved viewing for spectators. The festival will feature performances by presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Fans will once again be treated to an epic Formula 1 display, this time with the triple World Champions Infiniti Red Bull Racing and its hugely successful, record-breaking RB7 car. Formula 1 champion Mika Hakkinen will be there, along with TopGear’s mystery racing driver The Stig doing some Power Laps.

Further festival highlights will include Clarkson taking on The Stig with help from the fearless TopGear Stunt Team, a game of motorised sidecar polo and for the first time ever at TopGear Festival, South Africa’s very own Giniel de Villiers will showcase his Red Bull Toyota Dakar rally car.

The extreme Action Zone will host FMX bikes and a 4×4 area to keep motors revving; along with the Shell Stunt School, featuring professional drivers piloting vehicles through jaw dropping manoeuvres. Daredevil handbrake turns, multiple car donuts and high speed drifting is on the menu.

New at the show will be the Epic Go-Karting tracks, R100 per person gets you onto the karting track. Tickets will be on sale on the day at the Go Kart track.

For those who prefer driving in the slow lane, the People’s Park exhibition will suffice with latest models and accessories on show.

The family package costs R1750 per family of four (two adults and two children under the age of 16).

Basic tickets are available for R250 to R2100 for an ultimate package
