Hey America, the Honda-powered 230 horsepower, 1,500 pound insane buggy that seems too good to be true is finally available in the U.S.—starting at $80,000.

Ariel has worked a deal with TMI AutoTech who will produce the hand-built Nomad for the American market from their facility in Virginia. You’ll be able to buy either the $80,000 Sport model, or upgrade to adjustable dampers, Alcon brakes, and some other gadgets for the $92,250 Tactical model.

From what I can tell, and , driving this thing just might be worth the sort of breath-shortening price. There’s also that 3.4 seconds to 60 mph figure that’s pretty impressive.

Pitiful $220,000 Bentley SUV Shamed By Electric Minivan
The 600 horsepower is a monster of an automobile, a massive feat of engineering and speed. But it is absolutely walked by the even more massive Tesla Model X. That’s what MotorTrend figured out when they put the Bentley truck up against the world’s most desirable minivan. I’d say that’s...
